Diving and dogs.

Last night someone from the next hut came and knocked on mine at 4 in the morning. He had his stuff stolen from the hut, and wanted to know if i'd heard anyway.
That sucks for him, luckily I keep everything important with me when I leave.

Diving.
God it's brilliant.
Since I last typed on this yoke, I've completed my Emergency First Response course.
This allows me to give CPR, rescue breathing, and first aid to anyone who needs it.
A great course to have under me auld belt.
Then onto the Rescue Diver course.
I'm really enjoying this one.
You learn so much about what to do in all the scenarios that might happen in the water.
I feel so confident about going down now, I always enjoyed it, but now I feel like I can help if something goes wrong, instead of gawking at other people doing emergency procedures.

Next course, Dive Master!
But that'll have to wait unitl next year, as it takes two months to complete.

I found a stray dog from last year that was our friend, she's all grown up now, and hardened by the streets, but still hangs out in the same haunts as here childhood days....
And I've got my old instructor back too!

I went snorkeling the other day on front of the beachhut, and met a two foot Blacktip Reef Shark. He was elusive to my camera, but my body was not elusive to the sharp reef in the chase... I have plenty of memories to rub cream on...
