Phuket and Peppered Steak
I met the rest of them! They got the message that night and turned up at me hotel.
Tis good ta see them all again.
Pity we're gonna go seperate ways again tomorrow, but it's only for a week or so.
Since I've come to Asia, I've given into western food twice, both in the last two days.
Consisting of a cheese burger two days ago, and today, a peppered steak.
I've good reasons for today:
I couldn't eat all day because I was seasick on a dive boat that went to a dive site when it shouldn't have.
They do this because they earn an awful lot of money here from divers, so cancelling a dive boat is only done when the boat can't, under any circumstances, make the dive site.
We dived to a wreck this morning, a whopping 32metres(Nigh on 100ft) below sea, and the second dive was around a small island, which I was unfortunately too messed up in the head for.
I felt stoned, drunk and sick at the same time.
I put it down to seasickness, and nitrogen narcosis followed by a faster ascent rate than I'm used too.
Well it's off to Bangkok tomorrow, and then Vietnam the next day.
Looking forward to it.
It's been grey since arriving in Phuket, and regular heavy showers break up the day for us.
The rest are going to Koh Tao to do the Rescue course etc.
I'm off now, out into this heavy rain for the sticky, tropical waltz home.
