Done Down Under

I get me auld flight this evening.
Wahoo!
Roll on Asia.
I get into Bangkok around 11.30PM so I'll probably just try get the airport hotel for the night as everything else might be closed, and I don't wanna risk staying outside all night with the mosquitoes.

I've had such a good time here.
If I come back, or maybe I should say when I come back, I'm going to fly into Darwin, and travel down through the middle, then up the west coast and back out of Darwin.
Why?
Well I didn't get to go to the Northern Territory, or down the middle, and WA was the best state for real Australia (The Outback, wildlife, surf etc.)

So many highlights I could list, but I won't, I'll just send you to sleep if I do.

Since flying from Cairns on Friday night, I've been staying with Alan Murphy, a great friend from Athlone. He's been taking care of us like a worried mother! Fair play ta him.

Smeels left yesterday, and I'm off today. Tim left during the week, before we got to Sydney, and Macleod is leaving Wednesday.
We'll hopefully meet up next week before the full moon party in Southern Thailand (Macleod is flying into Kuala Lumper, and Tim and Smeels into Singapore)

I was gonna shtick up a few photos of the whole year, but I can't upload any photos from this silly PC. If you look back over the archives, you'll find the pics of the bunch anyway.

OK, it's reeeeeeeeeeaaally about time I got to the doctor to try get some malaria tablets, they won't take my Irish prescription here, they want to make $50 out of me by transposing the scripy onto an Aussie prescription form. Thieves.

It's onto a plane after that!
